ACT I:

Being an
Artist
is Hard.

In 2023, from opposite coasts, Rachel Music and Elspeth Hunt found themselves frustrated by their once-beloved Hollywood; the entertainment landscape was littered with low-effort remakes and bloated merch grabs, and creativity was being left on the cutting-room floor.

As writers, they sought to build something better by starting smaller. Elspeth and Rachel teamed up with pop-punk guitarist and startup veteran Kerrod Williams and feminist horror director Simone Kisiel. Together, they realized that the only way to combat the Content Kaiju would be by putting craft, compassion, and creativity first. Enter: Good Story Guild, a writer-founded production company specializing in audio fiction, interactive, and the myriad ways they intersect.

ACT 2:

Being a Working Artist is Harder.

ACT 3:

Authenticity Takes Time. But it's More Essential than Ever.

ACT 3:

But it's More Essential than Ever.

It's the cornerstone of everything we do. We like to think we're the cure for the common content.

Listen along, and come play.

Award-winning LA-based screenwriter turned multi-disciplined creative from Sydney, Australia. He's been signed to a major record label, worked in cult-status tech start-ups, and consulted companies for over half a decade before starting Good Story Guild with his co-founders. Kerrod's eclectic experiences empower him to create irreverent, high-concept adventures that explore the burned-out millennial condition; a combination of imposter syndrome, constantly shifting expectations, and the shared generational trauma of growing up at the onset of social media. As Head of Interactive, Kerrod leads a new in-house development team in creating unique experiences that focus on championing great stories in the independent games industry.
